The Half Whittler is a double-hinged pattern based on the Pen knife and was designed as the name intended; for whittling. This folding knife includes Clip and Pen blades. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and is preferred for detail work. The Pen blade is similar to a Spear Point or Drop Point blade but is much smaller. When a tree undergoes some form of stress it creates a burl. This growth has an unconventional grain that resists splintering making it an optimal choice for a handle material on your Case knife.
